FRONTIER held its 3rd General Assembly Meeting on the 9th and 10th of May 2022 at the premises of Eurecat in Barcelona, Spain. It was the first time that consortium members had the opportunity to meet in person from the project start, due to the COVID restrictions.
The members of the consortium participated in a series of presentations and discussions in order to evaluate the progress achieved so far, shared ideas, and worked through potential challenges. The consortium has defined new goals and milestones until the next GA Meeting, towards the development of the different technical solutions that will be demonstrated in the three main pilot cases.
FRONTIER’s project main objective is to build the next generation network and traffic management system for future mobility. It has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and started in May 2021, for a 36-month duration. FRONTIER brings together partners from 5 universities and research institutes, 7 companies, 5 transport authorities from three diverse European countries, one testbed for traffic management and one international road federation.
